Thanks, America!

by Colin Liddell

Love and being the United States of America means never having to say you're sorry (at least not yet). It also means being pompously and ludicrously self-righteous – a bit like someone with a toilet seat around their neck offering you advice on etiquette.

The latest clanger in this line was dropped by Chuck Hagel, the US defence (sic) secretary at a recent three-day summit held in Singapore, where he accused China of being a "destabilizing force" in the South China Sea. Yes, perhaps in that little patch of brine, but what kind of authority does America have to accuse any country of destabilizing anywhere? After all, this is a country that is currently supporting factions – or simply stirring the shit – in on-going bloodbaths in Egypt, Syria, and the Ukraine.

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936) bears the distinction of being a writer who resisted virtually all of the dominant trends of his era. He lived during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, precisely the time that modernity was fully consolidating itself within Western civilization more than a century after the apex of the Enlightenment and the French Revolution. Chesterton began his writing career as a young man and as the twentieth century was just beginning. As much as any other writer from his era, he predicted the horrors that century would entail.

Maya Angelou died yesterday. For those of us who lived through the Clinton years, she served as a symbol for white guilt.

"This is a salute from the Swedish youth to our European brothers and sisters...Europe belongs to us..."
So begins this potent video from the Sverigedemokratisk Ungdom, the youth organization of the Swedish Democrats, the Swedish nationalist party that made impressive gains at the recent European elections. The message of trans-European identity and resistance is driven home in a message that uses English, Swedish, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Finnish, and Icelandic, reminding the world that the whole continent belongs to us and no one else but us. A welcome change from Swebola.

“Respectability” is one of the most confusing and controversial words in our kind of politics, since it is used to convey two quite different, indeed, unrelated meanings.

On the one hand, it means doing just what Nigel Farage of UKIP does: staying within (even if at the limits of) permitted political discourse, running with the fox and hunting with the hounds, especially on the immigration issue, shamelessly protesting his supposed anti-racism but all the while courting the large anti-immigration vote.

Farage would never say that a nation is ultimately an extended kin group based in the last analysis upon ties of blood, not a mere social construct based upon shared language, religion, culture or “values” (which to the British political class in any event mean the false, worthless and inverted “values” of bourgeois liberalism).

Before he fatally stabbed three roommates, fatally shot three strangers, then put a fatal bullet through his own head last Friday night in Santa Barbara, California, 22-year old Elliot Rodger recorded several videos in which he bitterly complained, with singular and disconcerting intensity, about his perennial inability to get laid.

These video segments, now posted on Youtube, make for a surreal viewing experience, since it’s difficult to reconcile the perpetually whinging, pitifully feckless lad featured with the gruesome series of murderous acts he undertook just a short time afterward. Speaking in an effete, pompous, comically imperious tone drained of emotion or affect, the slight, baby-faced Rodger expresses morose incomprehension concerning all of the rejection he has endured from girls “over the last eight years,” a span of time he says has been filled with “loneliness and unfulfilled desires.”

Louis Ferdinand Auguste Destouches, better known by his pen name Louis-Ferdinand Céline, was one of the great writers of the 20th century. His novels profoundly explored the nihilism at the heart of Western modernity. To commemorate his birthday, we publish once again Matt Forney's classic review of what is considered his greatest work.

Four years of college taught me that not only does the ivory tower have no idea what makes good literature, they couldn’t care less; they’ll erase truly talented writers from the history books if they wander off the plantation. Case in point: the 20th century’s most reviled and imitated novelist, Louis-Ferdinand Céline. Ask an English professor about Céline and half of them will have no idea who you’re talking about, and the other half will react like you just snapped off a Hitler salute. I still remember how my junior year Early American Lit professor reacted when I told her I was reading Rigadoon: ”Wasn’t Céline a Nazi?”

The recent European elections are not the way that civilizations are saved, and the promising results for a number of slightly more realistic parties may in fact be outliers before the anti-democratic system reasserts itself using its usual tricks. We have been here before. When the BNP threatened the political consensus in the UK a few years ago, there was a sudden clanking of gears and whirring of wheels as the Great Machine went into action to eradicate the threat, which was done by a variety of techniques:
  • Racial swamping of the areas involved
  • Intense canvassing and the establishment of a detailed voter database to allow tailored approaches to individual voters
  • Comforting (and patronizing) noises about the need to understand "the concerns of ordinary voters"
  • Cloaked threats about the consequences of voting BNP both at the community level and the individual level
  • The promotion of "suitable" alternatives, which is essentially how UKIP got its big start
  • Cultural immersion in anti-racism
The result of this is that while the fake nationalists of UKIP have done rather well this time, the UK actually lost the two real nationalist MEPs – Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons – that it had elected last time.

This wonderful little gem has been finding its way around Being Liberal, Occupy Wall Street, and other such useless congregations of drooling buffoonery on Facebook, and other media outlets. It has come to my attention that this post isn't really new, but for those who have yet to see it, here is the original post in all of its post-enlightenment glory:
"In this African tribe, when someone does something harmful, they take the person to the center of the village where the whole tribe comes and surrounds them.
For two days, they will say to the man all the good things that he has done.
The tribe believes that each human being comes into the world as good. Each one of us only desiring safety, love, peace and happiness.
But sometimes, in the pursuit of these things, people make mistakes.
The community sees those mistakes as a cry for help.
They unite then to lift him, to reconnect him with his true nature, to remind him who he really is, until he fully remembers the truth of which he had been temporarily disconnected: 'I am good.'

Shikoba Nabajyotisaikia!

NABAJYOTISAIKIA, is a compliment used in South Africa and means: 'I respect you, I cherish you. You matter to me.' In response, people say SHIKOBA, which is: 'So, I exist for you."

With Europe in the public eye over the next few days thanks to the European Parliamentary Elections, we are re-running some relevant and informative articles on Euro-nationalism, like this one from 11th October, 2012.

by Dimitrios Papageorgiou

Two days have passed since Angela Merkel's visit to Greece, a visit that was viewed by the Greek people as an “imperial visit.” It was treated as such, with a large crowd of about 50,000 people demonstrating in front of the parliament.

The pictures of rock throwing youths and clashes with the police were typical of the footage that usually accompanies stories about Greece in the world media. But what is the real situation in Greece nowadays?

One can best describe it as a resurgence of the “extremes.” Only three months after the July election, which wounded the political establishment but did not kill it, it seems that the political feeling in the country is flowing to the opposite ends of the political spectrum. Both SYRIZA (extreme left) and Golden Dawn (nationalists) are gaining in popularity, and are providing the main theses to the opposition. Both are self-branded anti-establishment parties, and both want to see an end the loaning agreement between the EU-IMF-CEB and Greece.

Leftists frequently tell other people to "check your privilege."

This implies the assumption that the person has no value of their own, but is only in their position by virtue of this privilege and are therefore not competent to comment.

This ties into the fundamental mysticism of the left, which is that poverty in individuals and nations is caused by some great oppressive conspiracy, and not by the decisions made by those individuals and nations.

Leftists: self abnegating and selfish at the same time.

by Colin Liddell

One of the chief characteristics of modernity is a departure from traditional morality, but merely deviating from such morality does not mean the abnegation of that morality, which is founded on eternal truths. Rather it is a form of negative affirmation of that morality. Therefore we should not be surprised that such deviation creates a strong sense of moral inferiority among those who choose that path, and thus impels a desperate need to offset it and reset the moral balance.

This simple psychological equation can be used to explain much of what we see in Leftism and why the extreme Left tends to attract the viler kinds of human being.

The monstrous predominance of default agnosticism—the reflexive mindset of our era—reinforces a terrible gloominess in the sensitive soul.

Those of a more obtuse psychic composition are able to avoid the snares inherent in such a circumstance, since—being frivolous by nature or by habit—they can slough off such rhetoric with the sort of automatically-generated aplomb supplied by their carelessly-cultivated shallowness. Unfortunately, it cannot be so for those mindful enough to follow premises through to their logical conclusions. These instead are like the one who, in the words of T.S. Eliot, found himself “much possessed by death/ And saw the skull beneath the skin.” For such as Eliot’s protagonist, being smacked in the face with the prospect of moribund, maggoty meaninglessness is simply too much to endure. Such seekers as these are aware of a need for greater nourishment than what they are being offered, else they will starve.

(Of course, THIS isn't "hate speech"...)
by Jack Grant

How would you like to fight the new secret war, taking on the enemies of the new multicultural, borderless Britain one social media website at a time?

Here's your chance to join the Britain's most well-funded secret army as a professional left-wing troller!

Such is the message – effectively – in this job advert for a Clapham based NGO called International Alert which styles itself as an "international peace building" outfit and apparently spends most of its time interfering in the Third World. But now it has sniffed out an another source of money available from the European Union for "combating hate speech".

In the local and European elections later this week, it is estimated that nationalist and patriotic parties in the UK will field a total of 2,570 candidates; 289 in the European elections; and 2,281 in local elections. In many of these elections, these candidates are standing unopposed by any other nationalist or patriotic candidates, but all too often, particularly in the European elections and also in local elections in wards that have traditionally produced much support for nationalist candidates, there are nationalist and patriotic candidates standing in opposition to each other, thereby making it inevitable that the nationalist and patriotic vote will be split, minimising the possibility of electoral success.

Furthermore, this deplorable situation is made all the more tragic when one considers that to all intents and purposes, their policy schedules and offerings to the public are almost identical in every case.

This is a video of Nick Clegg, leader of Britain's most Europhile political party the LibDems making yet another pointless speech. This time he's praising some Jewish initiative, but it could just as easily have been sucking up to some other non-White group or privileged minority, like gays or feminists, because the platitudes resorted to are almost entirely interchangeable. The only real point of interest is near the beginning of the video, when he says something blatantly absurd:
"The Liberal Democrats will always stand up for a Britain that is open, tolerant, and diverse. It's in our DNA."
Of course, Clegg is worried about UKIP's appeal to the nationalist sensibilities of British voters and is awkwardly trying to get his slice of the "national pride pie." He implies that there is something unique about certain British values and then states quite clearly that, rather than just being the result of culture or education, these values are in fact rooted in the genes of the British people – the blood of the volk!

This is a big step for a typical blank-slate progressive like Clegg to take. The only problem is that the values he cites – tolerance and openness – are exactly the same ones most conducive to opening the borders, mass immigration, and racial replacement. So, what he's really saying is: "being bred out of existence is in our genes," and implying that the values he is extolling are therefore in the process of destroying themselves.

In recent days Alternative Right has been working hard to highlight the deficiencies of our modern democracy.

Siryako Akda's ARE MASS MOVEMENTS OBSOLETE? contends that politics is going the way of warfare – i.e. something fought by special ops or guerrilla forces rather than the mass armies of the past. Mike Newland's MANCUR OLSON AND THE DECLINE OF NATIONS makes similar points, referring in particular to the way that strongly motivated minorities skew the system in their favour while the majority allows itself to be sidelined. William Solniger's IS ETHNIC REPLACEMENT 'UNDEMOCRATIC'? identifies the way that our nebulous egalitarianism works to disempower the majority – effectively rendering it silent – and thus allows its domination by these potent minorities

The Ideological Caste has noticed your deviancy.

by David Hamilton

Liberal Democracy has been transformed into a police state, like Stalin's Russia or Mao's China, to manage immigration or the importation of cheap labour for the elites. The persecution has been going on for over 50 years and did not begin with Political Correctness but is part of the multi-racialists' outlook. It got much worse from the 1960s when the new elites formed an "Ideological Caste" with membership dependent not on blood, birth, or class, but on holding the right opinions. To rise in life one has to conform to their ideology. What I would like to focus on is how the "Caste" gang up on their victims and the Gestapo/ KGB style methods they use.

On the traditional conservative Right, it is a commonly-heard refrain that the introduction of mass immigration and multiculturalism into European nations – hereafter referred to in less euphemistic terms as “ethnic replacement”, for that it what it amounts to in practice – was and is fundamentally undemocratic. For example, we have the view of Patrick Buchanan, who states that:
“What is most significant about [ethnic replacement in the USA] is that the American people never voted for it and do not want it. It is being imposed from above, anti-democratically, by a regime that refuses to enforce our laws and is now at virtual war with the American people.”

When popular culture is relentlessly permissive and debauched, the only true rebellion is to exhibit self-denial and fearsome wholesomeness. In spite of these undeniable contemporary circumstances, most kids today still choose to “rebel” by being utterly conformist in mindset and behavior; they show their supposed “individuality” and freedom from society’s constraints, that is, by doing exactly what the culture instructs them to do. Inter alia, they wear tight-fitting clothes, get pierced in various unseemly bodily regions, and consent to have their lower backs plastered with tacky tattoos; they drink, take drugs, and engage in numerous, random sexual encounters called “hook-ups.”

Perhaps such behavior was provocative at one time, in the pricklier clime of a more conservative Zeitgeist. Today, however, it is truly yawn-worthy, more of the same ol’ same ol’. To use the parlance of the times, it is simply “lame,” and not in the least bold, to engage in such ubiquitous activities. There is nothing exciting about these presumed “transgressions” anymore. The only truly transgress-ive act is one that rejects the notion of such pathetic faux-defiance with steely contempt, which opts instead for that which the sheep-like majority now commonly shuns as “reactionary.” Put succinctly, licentiousness is now utterly boring and bourgeois, while chastity is the sexy new taboo.

I’m not quite sure where the order came from. Maybe all the way from the White House, or it may have just originated in the upper echelons of Europe's media and music biz, who instinctively know their place in the grand scheme of things. But the probability is that well before last weekend's Eurovision contest occurred it had already been decided that a bearded freak in a dress would be crowned Eurovision winner.

Once the decision had been taken, it would be easy to implement, because, like so much else in the world today, Eurovision is a pseudo-democratic sham run by closely coordinated elites. The mechanics alone are revealing.

"We have a moral debt to our ancestors, who bestowed upon us our civilization, and a moral obligation to the generations who will come after us." ~Russell Kirk

Vladimir Lenin is alleged to have said, "The worse, the better." The worse that socioeconomic conditions became in Russia, the more likely the people would be to turn against the Czarist regime and support the revolution. Something analogous may be occurring in the Western world today. Whites are facing the harsh reality of a shrinking living space, diminished economic opportunities, and higher taxes to support an ever-growing number of minorities. The material costs Whites endure now and in the decades ahead will increase their racial consciousness, but this alone will not arouse our people with revolutionary spirit. A true awakening demands far more than the recognition of the problem. It requires the will to implement the solution.

Solutions are fashioned to deal with problems, but if the solution is more expensive than the problem, then the problem simply remains the preferred outcome. It is with this mindset that Whites have observed the downfall of Western civilization. We deny the evils we face because every real solution necessitates great suffering for ourselves and for those who stand in our way. The path of deliverance is unacceptable to Whites and shall remain so until we acquire the virtue necessary to prioritize the interests of our people well before the interests of the Self and well before the interests of non-Whites. Only then will the solution cost Whites less than the problem and only then will we have the resolve to implement the solution. For a moral transformation of this magnitude to occur, we must reconnect our souls with eternity by vanquishing the false prophets of individualism and multiculturalism.

The last days of Rome.

by Mike Newland

Why do great and powerful nations which appear unbeatable decline and fall? One might immediately conclude that they are simply overcome by the growth of inevitably superior forces despite all the advantages in resources which being powerful has brought them.

The best known example is Rome which enjoyed extraordinary abilities in organisation and in the technology it could apply by the standards of the day yet still collapsed.

Mancur Olson (1932-1998) was an American economist who addressed this question from the point of view of how things work in societies as a result of the formation of groups pursuing particular interests. How do incentives to combine together in self-interest affect what happens? See his book "The Rise and Decline of Nations."

The virtue of democratic government at first sight is that any group which feels itself disadvantaged can form a coalition and lobby to improve its position. That is certainly the version of democracy purveyed by politicians on the stump. It’s in principle correct if you ignore the obstacles placed in the path by a system protecting its power interests against interlopers.

But there is a paradox here, Olson argues. It is logical to think that if enough people are discontented and agree on a common interest that they will act in concert and influence how things work. In reality they often do not.

 The "incriminating" picture

Dear alt-right friends, there’s never been a better time to be a Christian.

Yes, it’s true, my friends Matt Parrott and Matthew Heimbach of are walking around with Orthodox boot prints on their bottoms, but that’s nothing in the scheme of things.  And it’s the scheme of things I want to briefly address. (The Matts are now apparently under threat of excommunication from their bishop due to their allegedly "heretical" activism on behalf of the white nationalist cause.)

The above video depicts a confrontation between a street preacher at Arizona State College, and a passing student who takes severe umbrage with his message. (The preacher's sign condemns homosexuality, among other things.)

The scene, sad and harrowing as it is, nevertheless ought to be scrutinized, as it is highly instructive concerning the reflexive attitudes, compulsions, and fixations of the rising generation of the brainwashed. Note how invocations of freedom of speech are countered with violent denunciations of "hate speech," while invitations to reasoned argument are countered with screeching "fuck yous" and an utterly unhinged campaign of flailing assault.

This kid is a sad case (pity is the most appropriate response on the part of the viewer), but it would be a mistake to conclude that there aren't many others like him out there, or that his unsightly antics here aren't in their way quite typical of the behavior of the intolerant elites and their unsavory minions who want to shut down all debate, demolish all dissent, and control the limits of all discourse.

Never Over

A Rondeau Redouble for Kai Murros

It’s not over; it’s never over. We
Can be neither beaten or defeated
Unless we concede that we are to be.
And we shall not let that be conceded—

Nothing has fallen away, we've succeeded
In holding onto what is most holy
And protecting it, unimpeded.
It’s not over; it’s never over. We

Know how to preserve ourselves, keeping free
And pure no matter how defiled, depleted
And degraded the world has grown. Esprit
Can be neither beaten or defeated

I first heard of Troy Southgate while browsing Jonathan Bowden's work in the British New Right back in 2009. Back then I only knew that he was some kind of musician and cultural figure. I never really had the chance to examine much of his work online, except for brief excerpts here and there, usually in relation with Bowden's work. It was only later on that I learned that Southgate was a National Anarchist, a topic which intrigued me for quite some time.

I have to admit that Anarchism is barely known in the Philippines. Classical Anarchism was briefly introduced to this country by Isabelo De Los Reyes, but never really became a major force in Philippine politics. There were Anarchist movements in other Asian countries, namely in Korea, Japan and China but these remained marginal movements which briefly existed at the turn of the 20th Century and faded away after the second world war.

Death in Odessa: the burning Trade Unions House in which 39 pro-Russian activists perished.

by Colin Liddell

One reason why I supported the Ukrainian uprising earlier this year was because, despite rumours of various kinds of "special operations" and skulduggery (on both sides), my perception was and still is that a great many of the people involved in the Maidan, including many of the members of Right Sector who spearheaded the action, were acting sincerely and with honour.

Honour includes a variety of qualities, but the essence of it is to behave in such a way that those not involved in your struggle will feel admiration and thus sympathy.

For example, the courage, steadfastness, and resolve shown by the Maidan demonstrators in the face of heavily armed police and attempts at state repression could be cited as honourable. But honour also includes other virtues, such as respecting innocent lives, showing magnanimity, and an awareness of things beyond your immediate selfish interests.

A typical example of repellent "diversity"-inspired artwork.

by Sebastian Biehl

One of the mantras of our time is "diversity" or, in other words, the urge to transform a homogenous society through governmental interference into an indefinable mixture.

Ethnic homogeneity is considered by the politically correct main-stream as deeply repugnant and dangerous, and is considered synonymous with "isolation," "parochialism," "racism," "superiority," "regression," among others terms. For the so-called opinion-formers, people who normally live in multicultural cities, homogeneity is outright offensive. A mixed couple, or a party with people of different races and creeds, is what makes opinion-formers and most journalists feel good. A community that lives according to its traditions creates immediate distrust, especially if it is a white community (in the case of traditional African tribes or Indian communities, lesser condemnation applies).

His bald head dramatically backlit in a manner that recalls Francis Ford Coppola's filmic presentation of Marlon Brando's Kurtz in "Apocalypse Now," self-proclaimed "small-fry" Andy Nowicki tells what he has learned after uncovering the Antifa's recent whispering campaign against him. (See earlier article, The Antifa Come A'Callin') Nearby revelers, curiously oblivious to the weighty issues under discussion, can be heard in the background, whooping drunkenly at sporadic intervals.

Churchill with a simple message for immigrants.

by David Hamilton

Those who call for common sense in immigration are following an honourable tradition of conserving our homogeneity going back at least as far as Queen Elizabeth I who expelled "the Blackamors" in 1602.

In this fine British tradition, Sir Winston Churchill attempted to introduce a Bill to control immigration in 1955. He also wanted the Conservative Party to adopt the slogan "Keep England White." [1]
